Long queues formed in Getxo on Sunday morning, as people gathered to vote in a non-binding ballot for "the right to decide" on the independence of the Basque Country. The polling boxes were placed in tents in the town square and other public places where people voted, wrote messages on a wall and listened to traditional live music.
